What we load, what it does, and how to turn the optional part off — in one click, from this page.
Choose Reject non-essential below and we stop sharing your browsing activity on this site with advertising partners. Your choice is remembered on this browser for a year. Nothing else about the site changes — every page, search, message and checkout works exactly the same.
These are what make the site a site. They are not optional and there is nothing to opt out of:
If you accept, we load the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells Meta that a browser visited a page here, and on a vendor or event page which one — which is how we find out whether an ad we paid for actually brought anybody. That is sharing your activity with a third party, which is why it is a choice and why rejecting it is a real option rather than a delayed one.
If you reject, the pixel is not loaded at all — no script, no tracking image, and nothing sent to Meta from our servers on your behalf either. Vendors on GotBooked who have connected their own advertising tag are held to the same answer.
Come back to this page any time and press the other button. The choice lives on the device and browser you made it on, so clearing your cookies, using a different browser or browsing privately means you will be asked again.
Browser-level signals are honoured where your browser sends them: if you have Global Privacy Control switched on, treat that as a rejection already recorded.

We use cookies to run this site and, with your agreement, to measure our advertising — which shares some browsing activity with Meta. You can say no and everything here still works. Cookie & privacy choices
